Warm September OOTD

Hi little sinisters!

I had a super busy day tying up some loose ends for a trip I'll be taking shortly.

The weather was practically summer today, so I matched my new denim mini with a Zara light blue lamé top and my glitter sandals!

The little cobalt blue Coccinelle Celeste bag I've had for a few years completed the look!

Stripped Monday Outfit

Hi little sinisters!

Hope you're having a wonderful Monday!

I have a full week planned so I started Monday with my new cotton dress (Mystery's gift for our anniversary - insert lots of little hearts), kitten heeled slingback sandals and no makeup. :P

The dress is stripped perfection with an A-line skirt that falls just above my knees, a fitted bodice and a wide belt. It also has adorable bows on both shoulders! Prada perfection.

        

Dudu always has a rough time getting up. :P

        

Off to to do my to-do list!

Out and about in Riccione

Out and about in Riccione yesterday afternoon.

Here's what happened.

We had lots of different champagne all courtesy of a champagne tasting campaign! Yay!
You paid 18€ and got a glass which could be filled 6 times at different brands' stands. What can I say.  Very Vogue.
This is my friend getting our glasses filled at Berlucchi.

I then bought mineral foundation from Sephora and a new limited edition MAC blush (I'll come back with details in another post).

I also got blushed by the MAC girl. I love MAC because their employees are always so niiiice! Don't you?

I also found an oversized denim jacket that looked amazing on me and went for a little under 200€.

My Mystery kept badmouthing it. :) My girlfriend loved it. Her boyfriend hated it. Could it be a guy thing?

This is the jacket in question, found it on their website 5preview.se this morning for just 170€ (all the more enticing)

We had dinner at Kalamaro Piadinaro - very funny name. Very good food.

An outfit under 50 € - you need to see and read this story

In light of my efforts to cut down on my spending, I have been secretly hunting for bargains. But I'm a picky shopper. I like quality, I like great fabrics and I live for high fashion, all of which never come at a reasonable price. My credit card can vouch for that.

So to my total surprise, my mom came over for a only-girls lunch, a trip to the dentist and to kick some fashion sense into me. Not in that order precisely but you get my point.

Last week, she accepted my challenge (Barney Stinson style) to buy a total outfit for under 50€. 

I said it was impossible, she said it wasn't. That and a bunch of other words that summed up meant I was spoiled. We laughed and I thought that would be the end of it. But low and behold, and again total Barney Stinson style, she comes for our girls lunch clad with her shopping foray meant to shame my monthly expenditure on clothes for all eternity.

She got me three adorable, chic, truly fashionable yet ridiculously cheap pieces that make for one cool outfit.

Yellow cotton sweater - Zara (a sample sale) 12,90 €

Geometric print pencil skirt - Zara 14,90 € (from the freakin' shop)

Pink camouflage clutch - Carpisa 19,90 €

Grand total = 47,70 €

Total shock.

I did throw in my white H&M T-shirt and a pair of never-worn Miu Miu nude patent plateaux sandals but who doesn't have a white T-shirt and some nude shoes?

I am beyond proud of my mom.

What do you think?

I'm thinking of hiring her as a personal shopper. She would undeniably give my credit card some deeply needed rest. :)
