Feeling-Better Outfit

One last dinner with friends in Ancona before my trip to Milan.

Beyond excited, and tired, and a bit worried, and feverish, and ... lots of other contrasting emotions.

Finally feeling better today so I broke out my new pencil skirt with my new Stan Smiths!

I've also set my eyes on a spectacular pair of sunglasses I hope to find in Milan so if all goes well, there will be news shortly! :P

Something I made a few days ago.

Cross you fingers

My wisdom teeth have decided to come out. On both sides. (insert me with a raised eyebrow)

I haven't been able to eat properly for almost 2 weeks.

Although I appreciate having lost a full 5 pounds because of it, I am in so much pain that I am on the verge of becoming a junkie. Hence no outfit photos. Sorry.

Now if that wasn't enough, I supervised an exam yesterday in a high school here in Italy.

Note: in Italy, many high schools (especially the ones who teach humanistic subjects) occupy former convents and monasteries. Gargantuan buildings with bomb-shelter thick walls, dark and humid.

The exam took place in the Aula Magna, aka the ex cellar of the above mentioned gargantuan edifice.

It was cold and damp and I felt terribly cold all the time. The 4 hours I had to be there. 

I now am verging on a cold.

(insert me swaddled in a blanket and sipping on hot tea with 25°C/77°F temperatures)

And today I am doing my final Delta seminar. 

Because on Wednesday I have my 3 hour long exam.

Sooooo.

I need everybody that reads this post to send me some positive mojo,karma,energy,something. Because I've got plenty of negative ones.

I'm leaving for Milan on Monday and I promise I will slither and crawl and take lots of pictures.

If I don't expire before leaving. :))

I would have taken some pics today since I'm wearing an all white, but unfortunately the weather has decided to be a b****, so no photos.
This is sunny yesterday, out and about eating ice-cream and looking for perfect sandals, aka the urban myth.
The little monster joined me for the hunt and made for an awesome co-model.

Photography III - Animals

Good morning everybody!

I don't know about you, but for me photography is therapeutical. I get up in the morning and think photography. It just makes my day so much better.

I've always considered myself much better behind the lens than many other things I've tried.

Some of my favourite things to photograph in B&W are animals. I think if you take the forced vitality of color away, you get such a profound, soulful image of the animal. 

These are just some of the animals I have photographed in the Serengeti and that never cease to amaze me every time I look up to my B&W wall, so I thought I'd share.
